My Background & Education

With strong family ties to the legal profession, I always knew I wanted to become a lawyer. After graduating with my undergraduate degree in history, I went on to attend the University of North Carolina School of Law. Through my studies, it was clear that the area of tax law provided a challenging, but rewarding, opportunity to help people with particularly complicated matters.

I graduated with my J.D. in 1977 and was admitted to the Missouri State Bar that same year. To enhance my legal knowledge and skills, I completed a Legal Master's degree program in Taxation in 1981. Since graduating from law school, I have been proudly serving the communities of St. Louis and the surrounding areas with high-quality legal services in the areas of tax law, tax controversy resolution, estate planning and administration, and business representation.

I won’t tell you what to do, but I will always guide you toward the solution that best fits your needs.
